KULAM KAAPOM
We have completed our event, Kulam Kappom under the theme of "Go Green" as a Joint project with the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Vadavalli and Kovai Kulangal Kaapom, a Non-government Organisation. In this event, around 30 members of both the clubs and NGO participated and worked together to clean the ponds near Perur Kulam, Coimbatore. We are so contented that we spend some quality time to sustain our nature and made good fellowship among all people's on New year.
REEDEM
We completed our event, Redeem under the theme of "Building a responsible community". In this event, members of our club donated blankets to the homeless people and needy people on Maruthamalai Temple, Coimbatore. We have provided around 15 blankets to the needy people. They thanked us for the help and blessed us. We felt very pleased by doing this event.
ETHIR NEECHAL
Ethir Nechal under the theme of "Youth Power". In this event, We have conducted a career development session for the government school students in Tirupur. The students came to know about NEET & JEE exams, UPSC & TNPSC exams. They asked many career-related doubts and thanked us for the guidance. Many of the students asked us to guide them further with their careers. The Headmistress of the school appreciated us for the initiative.
MAGIZH
We have completed our event, Magizh under the theme of "Old age". In this event, we visited Helping hearts old age home in KNG pudur, Coimbatore. We celebrated our new year with the grandparents of the old age home by cake cutting. We also conducted fun activities for them such singing, dancing, story telling. The elders actively participated in all activities. We felt so happy on seeing their smiley faces throughout the event and they blessed us.
EDIFY-PHASE 3
We feel so much delighted in completing an event, "EDIFY - Phase 3" - Enlight through creative education. It's a District Priority Project comes under Value Addition. In this event, we were about to teach new English words & Artworks. The session was handled by our Club members,Rtr.Karan, Rtr. Pavithra .They taught them with artworks & English communication. The children were attentively learnt English words for basic communication and some artworks which enhances their creativity. The children were so cosy and comfortable with the session and they asked us to visit them every week, we also planned to educate them continuously.It was really a great one enjoying and educating the kids.

In this event, where about teaching new English words . The session was handled by our Club member,Rtr.Karan, Rtr. Pavithra . They are so much attentive throughout the session. The children were so easy and comfortable with the session and they asked us to visit them every week.It was really a great one enjoying and educating the kids.
ANCESTOR
We the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton City completed an event, "ANCESTOR" - a event to celebrate the bond between Grandparents & grandchildren .Its a District Priority Project comes under "Old Age". In this event we had a cake cutting for Grandparents and had so much interaction with them. It is the perfect opportunity for us to spend time with the grandparents,smile seen in their face made our day beautiful. Let's Celebrate Grandparents!!
EDIFY-PHASE 1
We feel so much delighted in completing an event, "EDIFY - Phase 1" - Enlight through creative education. It's a District Priority Project comes under Value Addition. In this event, where about 10 children were there in the session on learning craft work - a Pen stand. The session was handled by our Club member, Rtr. Divya Priya. They are so much attentive throughout the session. The children were so cosy and comfortable with the session and they asked us to visit them every week.It was really a great one enjoying and educating the kids.
EMPOWER
First Aid save lives - Its for everyone and everywhere. The event for transpeople in collaboration with First Heart Foundations Network called " Aval oru thodarkathai - Phase 3 - EMPOWER - Session 1 ". A free training camp on emergency first aid treatment for more than 100 transgenders which will aid and protect lives of many people on emergency hours. The event was held at Poombuhar Nagar playground, Edayarpalayam at 10 AM. The training camp followed by Dr. K. Saravanan, President of First Heart Foundations Network , trained transgenders on emergency first aid treatment. Ms.Pandiyamma, Sub Inspector of Thudiyalur Police Station and Mx. Pooja Amma, Head of Transgenders Community, Koundampalayam graced and participated in this event. Mx.Anushya, President of Transmom foundation addressed the
gathering.In this training session, the importance of life-saving first aid, good samaritan laws and artificial respiration, known as CPR, were elaborated in a practical way. First aid to be carried out at unexpected moments such as heart attack, shortness of breath, drowning, electricity, snake bites and fractures were taught and hands on experience was also given with the help of trainers. With this we completed our event which turned out be an indeed beneficial session for transcommunity.
