​CONVERGE
We the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton City conducted our Orientation program, "CONVERGE - Impeccable Orientation.
The session was handled by Certified District Trainers Rtr.PP. Revanth and Rtr.PP.Vikash. The event started by welcoming all by the President Rtr. Loganathan. The trainers explained origin & basics of Rotaract, Avenues services, protocols to followed in Rotaraction by the members in an extremely amazing way.The session was fruitful to all the green rotaractors of the session.In this session, We also had tasks between our members which makes more interaction. We felicitated our trainers with token of love for their valuable session. The orientation event was then successfully completed by vote of thanks by Rtr. Karuna, Secretary correspondence.
FAM JAM
We the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton City successfully completed our event "FAM JAM" - Fellowship among us. This event was exclusively for our members to get interaction between club members and to know each other. It is of 4 rounds. In first round members, they introduce themselves with any nicknames which they like. In the second round, one should explain about the person in the club which others don't know. The third round was a fun task, in which everyone should bring the things which are displayed on the screen and the final round is Connection in which the clues of the songs are displayed, where the need to guess the songs with the help of clues. In this event the members enjoyed a lot and they came to know each other.
CHARTER DAY
We, the Rotaract club of Coimbatore Cotton City celebrated our very first Charter day with our members and helping hearts people on 15/08/2022 at Helping Hearts Old age home, KNG Pudur, Coimbatore. Actually it's our first birthday celebration of our club. It was an exciting moment when we do new things to people. At Old age home, the celebration starts with dance, games and singing. Our members collected their favourite old songs and played it, they are overwhelmed by that song and they told the stories what would happen in that song and in the movies. With that hyping mode, we moved to the next part of the celebration, that is to showcase their talents like singing, dancing and story telling. Then we collected the thumb prints of all thatha's and paati's in the form of heart shape and pasted it in the notice board for their memories.
SECRET SANTA
Everyone love surprises, presents and gifts. We conducted a popular game "Chrismom Chris child" where the spirit of giving gifts is celebrated. We let everyone select numbers upto 31 and we had a list of 31 names shuffled . The respective name corresponding to the numbers was their secret friend. And it remains a secret. The person should gift their secret friend without them knowing it by sending courier or asking someone to hand it over without revealing the identity. That creates the curiosity and expectations. The event makes everyone get closer and stimulates the fellowship among the members. At the end of the period, a get-together is held in zoom and the people reveal themselves to their secret friend. A lot of the fun lies in plotting and planning to deliver the gifts without letting the secret friend find out who the person is.
INCEPTION
We, the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton City successfully completed our Second Installation Ceremony. The ceremony was graced by Rtn. Rakesh Kumar Ranka - Governor Group Representative - 3201 as Chief Guest, Rtn.Nirov Sheth - President of Rotary Club of Coimbatore Cotton City as Guest of Honour and Rtr. PP.Anjana - GRS, Group-1 as Special Invitee and other fellow Rotaractors, Cabinet Members and Rotarians. The auspicious day begun with the procession of dignitaries to the dais followed by Rotaract Prayer and the President (2021-2022) Rtr. Karunya gave a welcome address and followed by Secretary Report. Rtr. Karunya gave his farewell speech and introduced the upcoming President Rtr. Loganathan. Rtr. Karunya inducted the new president Rtr.Loganathan and took up the responsibility by delivering the acceptance speech and introduced the office bearers of 2022 – 2023 of Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton City.
STRING ALONG
"Happiness is a collection of joyful experiences shared with soul friends. Get together and have some Fun!".
The event String Along was a meet and greet for our club to chill with our club members and also to improvise our club related activities. It has been a great day of enjoyment with productivity. A surprise event of birthday celebration is also planned for our fellow members Rafeek and Mathew. Many activities and upcoming projects were also discussed among members. This happy meetup last for two to three hours but it create a wonderful memories in our rotaract diaries.
SPOTLIGHT
"Coming together is a beginning , Keeping together is progress, Working together is Success!". We conducted an event "Spotlight - Oh the fun we gonna have", among our club members. We together as a family , enjoyed the event to the core. It gave us immense pleasure of being bounded with joy.
GRR & GRS MEETUP
We organised a meet up with our GRR, Rtr. PP. Subhash and GRS, Rtr. IPP. Bharath of Group 1, R.I.D.3201. They shared their experience in rotaract and encouraged to maintain the bulletin frequency. They cheered us to build the club in an extraordinary manner. The main motto of the meeting was to create a bond between Group 1 and club members. And this meet up ended with a virtual photoshoot.
ROTARY INSTALLATION
With great pleasure, we had a chance to witness our parent rotary installation for the very first time. Our President, Rtr.Karunya along with our Rotary Rotaract Relation Chairman, Rtr.PP. Poornapushkalarajan were glad to make their presence offline for the installation of Rtn. PHF.Ajay Kumar Gupta as the 13th President of Rotary Club of Coimbatore Cotton City on 15th July 2021. The most memorable moment of the ceremony was the recognition from Rotarians for our newly chartering rotaract club and receiving the gong and gavel as a token of love. Nearly 10 members from our club witnessed the online streaming installation as well. It was indeed a proud moment having a fruitful interaction with all Rotarians present there. Their wishes and recognitions along with our efforts will definitely take us a long way.
PRE - GBM
In our Pre - General Body Meeting, our President Rtr.Karunya explained the roles of each member and advised to prepare the year planner. In addition to that, we discussed the upcoming projects “Impact Library” and “Phone Mentoring”. We had a discussion about club dues and monthly report. At the end, we mainly focused on how to build a team and our progress of the club.
CONVERGE
We, the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton City, have conducted our first orientation along with our Parent Rotary - Rotary Club of Coimbatore Cotton City to install the knowledge of rotaract among our members. It was organized so that the rotaractors will get an insight into what rotaract actually is and how they can contribute towards it. Our Rotary President Rtn. PHF. Ajay Kumar Gupta chaired the meeting and handed over the proceedings to the trainer. The speaker of the day was Rtr. PP. Muthu Prasanna, who gave an inspiring speech which kept the audience engaged. He briefed about various services in the club and amazed us with his mind blowing talk.Rotaract is a platform to showcase one’s talent and increase their competencies.
SONDHAM
We the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton City completed a event called "SONDHAM " - sharing happiness . In this event our club members share the pictures of Diwali celebration with their family and friends with a content. We shared those content to all our members .It helps to know, how diwali gives us happiness and to know various cultural diversities within in the Diwali celebration. This makes our club members to know each other during festival time.
