ENLIGHT
We joined hands with Talent Quest for India, a non-
governmental organization that helps to uplift the Government School students in studies. This was initiated as a mentorship program for 30 days in online mode through mobile. Mentors were requested to improve their knowledge and guide them through the career opportunities. Nearly 50 mentors are involved in this program attempting to change the lives of those students. Students were also enthusiastic to build their careers and they showed their works assigned to them. We hope this event Enlight, lighted up many students to chase their career.
WELLNESS IN YOGA
Wellness in Yoga, was initiated to create a wide awareness of the benefits of doing daily yoga planned exclusively for women and kids. To accomplish this we collaborated with Siva Sakthi Academy, Trichy. This worthy event was conducted on September 26, 2021 (Sunday) at 7 AM. The event turned out to
be refreshing and relaxing in the morning. Nearly 20 members were actively participated in the yoga practice. Also many people requested to send them the video of our session. The vision of this event is to share the yoga lessons to make them healthy and strong.
FESTINDIA
FESTINDIA is an online event to pull all the culture of festivals in a place to revisit and push the blasting celebrations. It was
intended to collaborate with various states among India to exchange our celebration spicing up with our festive memories.
This grand event was hosted along with three more clubs namely, Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton city from RID 3201,
Rotaract club of Perudurai from RID 3203, Rotaract Club of Aurangabad Airport From RID 3132, Rotaract club of Bangalore West from RID 3190. As there was presence from all over India we felt the unity and diversity of our own country. We had a discussion on three famous festivals each celebrated in various states of India. The festivals are PONGAL- HARVEST FESTIVAL IN TAMIL NADU , UGADI – TELUGU NEW YEAR , MAKAR SANKRANTI - HARVEST FESTIVAL IN NORTH INDIA. We had a beautiful culture exchange on the event .
RIGHTS TO KNOW
We the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cotton City successfully completed an event called "RIGHTS TO KNOW", this is an ID session on basic laws. The session was handled by Rtr.Bharanidharan.S - District Trainer Designate, Rotaract Club of Perundurai, RID 3203. He is Lawyer by profession. The members from our club and Rotaract Club of Perundurai and Rotaractors of R.I.3203 were also participated in this session. The session was so much interactive and we are able to understand the basic laws we should know and follow in our society. It was a great platform to interact with the members from other district. We together achieve more, with this taught we had great session on basic laws.
